    Be the next big idea and WIN £5,000 worth of marketing activity

    WTM London is where people discover the next big thing in travel - and our new video competition is your platform for showing them what your brand is all about.

    World Travel Market London unlocks the ideas that will shape the world’s dreams and plans for travel over the next five years. Our theme this year is 'Ideas Arrive Here' and we're opening our social media channels to you. Share your latest product innovations, destination news or BIG travel ideas in a simple 30-second video, and we'll promote it to our global audience of travel buyers and visitors — on our website, social channels and marketing emails. All you need to do is upload your video onto Instagram using #ideasarrivehere to showcase your big idea. This video competition is an unrivalled opportunity to create brand awareness, generate more business and reach more people through our popular and effective channels.

    It’s easy to do — just use your phone to film it if you like — and you'll reach up to 144,000 people by simply entering. Plus, its free to enter and we’ll promote every qualifying video submitted across our channels — so what are you waiting for? Our judges will choose the top five videos for a public vote. The top three winners will each receive promotion and in-show marketing during the three days of WTM London 2018 — worth £5,000.

    What are the judges looking for?

    Do you have a new idea that'll change the travel industry for the better, a new product or service, or do you want to promote a cultural discovery or the next big adventure destination? Then share it in your 30-second video to get the word out.We do not want brand videos, we want to get to know the real you which is why we are asking for you to describe your new and big idea in a unique way. Maybe get your colleague to video you telling us your story or why not do it selfie style – it’s really up to you - but remember we need to know who you are and where you are from. Brand videos will not be entered into the competition.

    How to enter the competition

    Simply upload your 30-second video to Instagram using our competition hashtag #ideasarrivehere and tag @wtmlondon where we will be able to see your entry, we will then share them on our social media channels and our website.

    Please remember to tell us your company name and where you’re from in your video.

  • Tips for creating your video

    Think about what makes you different
    Give visitors a reason to visit your stand at the show by creating a video that shows them what makes your product, service, and destination or travel idea special.
    Keep it short
    You have 30-seconds to share your ideas, so make sure you stick to the time limit.
    There's no need to blow your budget
    We’re not looking for big productions or technical perfection in the videos — it's the message that counts. You can enter with just a mobile phone video.We want to get to know you and your brand – the real you – so brand videos will be not allowed to be entered into the competition.
