Our Charity

  • Just a Drop

Just a Drop brings sustainable safe water, sanitation and hygiene projects to communities around the world, transforming lives.

Just a Drop will celebrate its 20th anniversary and reaching 1.5 million people globally with safe water and sanitation at World Travel Market 2018, the event where the charity was launched in 1998 by Fiona Jeffrey OBE, former WTM Chairman.

  • Safe water changes everything. It improves health, education, women’s rights, leads to secure food sources, economic growth and brighter futures. It completely transforms lives, especially those of women and children.

Just a Drop works with communities to implement solutions which best suit their needs, such as rainwater harvesting systems, wells, sand dams, biosand filters, latrines, and sanitation and hygiene training. The charity has recently developed food security and micro-finance programmes, which further support community development and economic growth.

To mark Just a Drop’s 20th anniversary, the charity has partnered with Water-to-Go to create eco-friendly water bottles, which will be sold exclusively on Just a Drop’s stand at WTM (BL4 on the Main Boulevard, by N4/S4) for the special anniversary price of just £5. All profits will support Just a Drop’s safe water and sanitation projects.
