Wizz Air CEO Interview

5 Nov 2019, 10:00 - 10:45

Europe Inspiration Zone

Since its small beginnings back in 2004, Wizz has grown to become one of Europe's largest and most successful low cost airlines. It now serves over 40 countries from 25 bases & carried 34 million passengers in 2018 whilst delivering profits of €292m on a fleet of over 100 aircraft.  Leading the business today is CEO Jozsef Varadi  who has been there from the start.  He was last seen at the WTM 5 years ago and when his interview with John Strickland proved extremely popular and interest is sure to be great this time too. The airline, which has always been a big player in the UK market, is now even more important here having obtained a UK operating licence and establishing a base at London Luton airport with 11 aircraft. There will be plenty to discuss, as Wizz has over 250 new Airbus aircraft on order to fuel its growth plans,  but it must also navigate challenges including Brexit and flight disruptions.  Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to hear Jozsef Varadi in conversation with John Strickland.
