In this session, the most important success factors of luxury travel trade and hotel businesses globally are analysed regarding their relevance for the Asian markets. Based on the outcomes of the latest edition of the sector's leading global industry barometer, the IE & Mastercard Premium Travel Barometer 2018/19, key success factor aspects, challenges, and management solutions for different Asian markets are explored. After a brief presentation of the global Barometer results, a panel of industry experts specialised in Asian luxury travel will discuss the major differences between Western and Eastern approaches and come up with strategic and operational advice for managers of luxury travel firms dealing with Asian clients.
