Foodie by birth and world explorer, Udi worked for years in tourism marketing both in the USA and the Far East. In 2000, he started a Bedouin style hospitality village in the national park of Massada, and from this time on, knew that specializing in food tourism was his destiny. In 2015, Udi earned his Certified Culinary Travel Professional designation from the World Food Travel Association. Today he serves as an Ambassador to Israel and on the Association’s Board of Advisors. Udi is active with Slow Food on the development of Slow Travel Israel as a model for the larger organization. Udi is a former chairperson of the Israeli Association for Culinary Culture and currently serves as the CEO of the Jerusalem Culinary Institute.
