In the age of Customer-centric approaches and emphasis on real life experiences, one must ask: how do we collect repeatable, objective data on the quality of travelers’ experiences? Thanks to applied neuroscience and biometric research, Thimus can now go out in the field - any field - and collect scientific data to compare different parts of a travel experience: from the reception to the room, from the common areas to excursions, food experience and every other bit of the package. This produces instant actionable insights, granular analysis of what really happens and what has a lasting positive - or negative - effect on a Customer. The case history of the Alpitour Project in Madagascar will be presented and Thimus will pitch an initiative to create a permanent Thimus Neuro Travel Lab, to be devoted to the specific study of actionable business insights for the Travel and Leisure Sector.
