Aaron Heslehurst presents Talking Business with Aaron Heslehurst, a half-hour show which airs at 1330 GMT every weekday on BBC World News.

Heslehurst has been a familiar face on BBC World News for several years having joined the network in February 2002. He’s presented some of the channel’s flagship business shows, including Business Live and World Business Report, where he delivered the latest leading international corporate and financial news, as well as major breaking news stories.

During his time at the BBC, Aaron has reported on some of the world’s most impactful business news stories, including the global credit crunch and the subsequent global economic slowdown. Aaron also reports on the economic consequences of a range of international stories, such as the EU referendum in the UK, Donald Trump’s election, the highs and lows of global oil prices and disease outbreak. Aaron has also interviewed some of the world's biggest corporate leaders, from the World Bank to the IMF, the European Union to the World Trade Organisation.

Aaron’s specialty lies in the global aviation industry, having interviewed those at the helm of some of the world’s largest and leading airlines, including United, British Airways, American Airlines, Qantas, Etihad, SAS, Air Canada, Thai, Iberia, Air India, Malaysian, Emirates, Air New Zealand and Gulf Air.

Prior to joining BBC World News, Aaron was a Senior News Anchor with CNBC Nordic, a branch of NBC America, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He previously worked as the European Bureau Chief for Paramount Pictures and Real TV News in the USA and later in London. 

A native of Australia, Aaron started his journalistic career as a News Reporter for Prime Television/Seven Network in Sydney and Canberra. There he gained vital experience in all areas of news reporting, including his first significant live-on-air and on-set work. He went on to win an Australian National Press Club award for best creative story on tourism.

Aaron graduated first in his class from University in California with an honours degree in Broadcast Journalism and Media Studies.
